How is victor able to justify his early treatment of the monster, and what is his final message to walton?

He told himself that he did everything he can in ensuring the mosnter's happiness.
So, based on that justification, he felt that he obtained the right to do that various experiments toward the monsters regardless the negative effects that he caused.
