Monoculturalism is when a single ethnic group or a religious group imposes their cultural beliefs as the main ones in a society and all other beliefs or cultures are suppressed. Sometimes monoculturalism occurs naturally if a country doesn't open itself much to other parts of the world, or it occurs forcefully usually during wars.
