x / 6 = -4 / 2
x / 6 = -12 / 6
x = -12 :)

we do it by cross multiplication.

x/6  = x-4/2

2x = 6x-24

2x-6x = -24

-4x = -24

thus, x = -24/-4

thus, x = 6.
