The value whee the limit of g (x) as x approaches alpha does not exist is at x = -3.

What is a limit?

It should bw noted that a limit simply means a value at which a function approaches the output.

In this case, lim x = g(x)

Finding the left and right hand limit, g(x) = -2 and -4. In this case, sine they're not equal, the limit at x = -3 doesn't exist
