g(x) = 2[f(x)]^2 - 1 g(x) = 2[2x + 1]^2 - 1 g(x) = 2[[tex]4 x^{2} [/tex]4x+1] - 1 g(x) = [tex]4 x^{2} +4x+1[/tex] - 1 g(x) = [tex]4 x^{2} +4x[/tex]
