Explanation:

2SO2 + O2  -> 2 SO3

64 g SO2  -> 1 mol SO2

100 g SO2 -> x

x= (100 g SO2 * 1 mol SO2)/64 g SO2     x=1.56 mol SO2

1 mol O2 -> 2 mol SO2

         x    -> 1.56 mol SO2

x= (1.56 mol SO2 * 1 mol O2)/2 mol SO2          x=0.78 mol O2
