the underground railroad was run by people called conductors and they were the one who helped the slaves escape. Somtimes people woud be put in packages to escape slavery or frieght lines which was package deliverers.Stations were the places that slaves would stop and sleep at during the mornings so they did not get caught and none of this is fiction it is all true and would be considered nonfiction.
