A rope has knots every 47 feet 3 inches. What is the ratio of 1 statute mile (5280 feet) to the length of the rope between knots? Give your answer as a decimal number. please help this is just confusing

1 foot = 12 inches, so 47 feet 3 inches = 47 and 1/4 feet = 47.25 feet
The ratio is:
5280 : 47.25 = 111.7603
