When f ( x ) = 0, ( x + 6 )^2 = 0. x + 6 = 0; x = - 6. Therefore point ( - 6 , 0 ) is the only x - intercept. Answer: D ) f ( x ) = ( x + 6 ) ( x + 6 ).
