Remember to follow PEMDAS.

First, solve the parenthesis.

(1 - 15) = -14

13 - 2(-14) ÷ 4

Next, multiply -2 and -14 (remember to bring the signs.

-2 x -14 = 28

13 + 28/4

Next, divide

28/4 = 7

13 + 7

Finally, subtract

13 + 7 = 20

20 is your answer

hope this helps
