-16 + 4(2g - 18) = 0

Distribute 4 inside the parentheses.

-16 + (8g - 72) = 0

Combine like terms (-16 - 72).

-88 + 8g = 0

Add 88 to both sides.

8g = 88

Divide both sides by 8.

First, we multiply the parentheses by 4: 4x2= 8g, 4x18= 72

-16+8g-72=0

Now, calculate the difference: -16-72 = 16+72= -88

-88+8g=0

Move: -88+8g+88=0+8. And then eliminate the opposites (and the zero) 8g=88.

Divide between eight, so, is equal to g=11

(I'm bad explaining lol)
