Here it is given that the unknown variable is b. So its product with 6 is 6b.

And 6b increased by 8 is

[tex] 6b+8 [/tex]

And it is atleast 18.

So we will get

[tex] 6b+8 \geq 18 [/tex]

Now we have to solve for b. ANd for that, first we subtract 8 to both sides

[tex] 6b\geq 10 [/tex]

Now we divide both sides by 6

[tex] b \geq \frac{10}{6} [/tex]

[tex] b \geq \frac{5}{3} [/tex]
